What do you want the CKI members to know about your position:
My position mainly consists of checking in with the clubs in my division and making sure they are all on track by giving them the resources they need. I am excited about this position because I get to be in contact with a bunch of new people and I get to visit the other clubs and students in the Circle K clubs in my division as well as helping people out and getting people excited to do service work!

Favorite Service project:
My list is long for favorite service projects because I love them all, but some of my favorite service projects in my Fargo-Moorhead area have been helping the Special Olympics team, setting up Christmas trees to donate through Frasier, teaching elementary school kids about animals at Science Academies, Relay for Life, and helping save the Fargo-Moorhead community during the flood by sandbagging.

Random Fact about yourself:
I don’t have anything particularly interesting about myself, but I can be a very interesting person to get to know! I love staying active and involved in various things (and I don’t sleep much because of it ;]) and I can get along with just about anyone!

What do you want the CKI members to know about your position:
To keep it simple, I sort of act like an intermediary between the district and the specific clubs in my division. It's interesting to be able to interact with more clubs than just my home club.

Favorite Service project:
I really enjoyed collecting play-doh and making cards for the Sanford Children's hospital in Sioux Falls during 2009 DCON. It was awesome to see how excited the hospital was to receive the donation!

Random Fact about yourself:
I really, really enjoy ballroom dancing and the semi-popped, crunchy pieces of popcorn. Not too semi-popped though. There's a happy medium between the good ones and the painful ones.

Lieutenant Governor North Star Division

Matt Nistler

Name:
Matt Nistler

Home Club
MSU Mankato

Division:
North Star

Committee:
Bylaws committee

Major and Year in School:
Accounting and finance - Junior

What do you want the CKI members to know about your position:
My favorite thing about being a lieutenant Governor is being able to contact and visit other clubs, it's an opportunity to see club members outside of conventions and get to know them better. This year I am in charge of the bylaws committee, and am very excited to make some changes this year to the bylaws.

Favorite Service project:
My favorite service project has to be rake the town, it's a project where volunteers rake the lawns of people that cannot do it themselves. The best part is that the Mankato club has been partnering up with the builders club so it's a chance to hang out with wee tots while having fun doing service.
